Having just secured Series A funding from leading UK and US venture capital groups the company is about to embark on a heavyweight period of investment in people, marketing and technology to cement its leadership in the UK.

Our contracts team lies at the very heart of our business, providing the amazing deals that give Secret Escapes its wow factor. We are constantly striving to negotiate the very best deals on stunning holidays and we are looking for talented sales people who can help us achieve that goal.

 

Key responsibilities:

Deliver a best in class product offering by:

  • Selling the concept of travel flash sales to hotels and holiday operators, demonstrating the channel as one of the most effective distribution outlets in the modern market
  • Negotiating discounts of up to 70% on hotel, package holiday and cruise products direct with the product owners themselves
  • Identifying and managing a pipeline of flash sales that offer a constant diversity of product across the UK and Europe and also worldwide
  • Deliver a steady stream of deals that will help the team achieve up to 25 active sales and 25 in preview at any one time
  • Manage all elements of the contracting process from target identification and initial contact right through to contract agreement and allocation management (with the support of an administrator)

Your profile

  • A proven contracting professional with a track record of successful, high profile roles
  • Substantial experience of negotiating the placement of high quality discounted product
  • Thorough knowledge of the hotel and holiday markets both in the UK and Europe
  • Excellent influencing and people skills, the ability to get the very best deals from clients
  • High levels of integrity and attention to detail to ensure that your deals are unquestionably the best in their class and are implemented to the highest standard on site
  • Boundless energy and commitment to your work and an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ approach to business
